A Tenderness of Wolves

Deckard Croix

This latest single (anticipatory of the upcoming psychedelic rock album, Cosmospine), is Croix's usual blend of angular structures and acid western guitar coiled with sinuous lyrics. Perfidious convention!

Artwork by Yornelys Zambrano!

Mise en Contexte

Deckard Croix

Croix's second sound montage release through Tachisme Records (Bocca di leone being the first) leans slightly closer to convention, focusing less on incidental sound and more on progressive electronica. Originally recorded in 2016 under indeterminist conditions, it has been pieced together (both conceptually and structurally) over time. It is here, this metamorphic sojourn through the invention of time.

The second in a series of spoken word/ambient projects featuring works in the public domain.

In this story by Franz Kafka, the titular hunger artist displays his skeletal frame to the delight of onlookers from within a locked cage. Marshalled about Europe by his impresario, he is, at first, praised, but eventually his fame recedes.

The first in a series of spoken word/ambient projects based on works dwelling in the public domain. This tale, written by the inimitable H.P. Lovecraft, swells bulbous with ancient mysteries and odd rituals in the sea town of Kingsport.

Just in time for the Yuletide!
