Port Manteau, Limehouse, I'm Not Here, Robert Reinhardt, Bourbon St.

It has been confirmed that Croix will be starting his own record label, Port Manteau Records, this Autumn and that Evil at Bourbon St. will be the first release on the label.

Croix's debut novella, Limehouse is scheduled to be released next year (possibly Summer).

Croix has been focusing on writing several scripts, one of which is finished. It is titled I'm Not Here and it will be filmed as a short. Filming will begin this November and will be submitted to various film festivals internationally.

Croix recently collaborated with experimental composer/violinist Robert Reinhardt in the Summer of 2010 for an album project titled, Mascara. Croix and Reinhardt are in talks about Reinhardt's Mascara becoming the first non-Croix release on Croix's upcoming record label, Port Manteau.

The Evil at Bourbon St. live double album will be the next official release; it is scheduled for late '10/early '11. It has been confirmed that there will be a Beatles cover (Don't Let Me Down) included on the album from the Bourbon St. gig. Other covers performed during the encore (Sister Midnight and Black Dog) will possibly be included on a future album due to legal issues.

April 30, Live albums, Next Year

After some last minute artwork changes, April 30 is on schedule for it's ... April 30 release! It will be available on Amazon.com, CDBaby, and iTunes.

The Evil at Bourbon St. live double album is still set to be released later this year. 23 tracks have been selected.

Hot Babel are discussing venues for the recording of their live album possibly in December. Croix will be guest musician and recording engineer. More information soon.

Croix has detailed plans for next year: another outtakes album (the sequel to Electroception) and finally, the Tuol Sleng album. Also, be on the lookout for the Limehouse novel in 2011.

Snapdragon, Bourbon Street, April 30

A new experimental project titled Snapdragon is set to begin recording in Italy this October. Croix will be acting purely as sound engineer, voice talent, and writer for the project. There will be over twenty musicians performing twelve sessions within a two year period in various live outdoor settings and with instruments found or constructed at the region.

The Bourbon Street double album has been set aside to allow time to work on other projects. It will be released in Summer of 2010.

April 30 is the next scheduled album to be released. Release date is April 30, 2010. An instrumental album recorded live in the studio with Croix's usual ensemble of musicians.

BANDERSNATCH AND HOT BABEL LIVE

The next album in the Croix catalog will be the long-anticipated double live album, Evil at Bourbon Street recorded in Chicago in 2008. It will be the first live album to be officially released featuring Croix's trio band, Bandersnatch and it slated to be released in October 2009.

In other news, there is talk amongst the members of Hot Babel of recording a live album near the end of 2009, possibly in New York to precede the Tuol Sleng album.

Croix also contributed soundtrack work for the indie film, Baby Alligators directed by Matt Hendricks. The film is currently in post-production and may be released with Vincent and Vincent.
